Hay bales fuel fire in Fletcher

FLETCHER, Okla._ A few hay bales caught fire here causing quite the scare as backup crews from Sterling were called in to assist.  

The incident happened near NE 195th Street and NE Wolf Rd. shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The fire did threaten some surrounding homes and other structures, but fire crews were able to contain the blaze before it spread.

No injures were reported.
