Bike rider injured following crash with pickup truck in Altus

Altus- A bicycle rider is recovering following a crash involving a pickup truck.

It happened Tuesday evening at the intersection of South Main Street and Highway 283 in Altus. The bike rider was taken to the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. According to witnesses the man on the bicycle smelled strongly of alcohol.
