Excessive speed to blame in car accident that injured teen

COMANCHE COUNTY, Okla._  High speeds are to blame in a car accident near Cache that sent a teenager to the hospital.

It happened just after 6 p.m. Saturday night on Post Oak Road just north of Pecan Road.

The driver was traveling at a speed well above the posted speed limit when he lost control and went sideways, wrapping his car around a tree.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper at the scene said the driver was wearing his seatbelt.

The teen was taken to a local hospital, but the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
