SNYDER, Okla._The Snyder fire and police departments are continuing to investigate the cause of a massive fire that claimed a large downtown building last week.
Police said it has been determined that the fire started in the northwest part of the structure. The building was secure and unoccupied at the time the fire broke out, so officials aren't suspecting any foul play at this time. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown.
They said the building did have power, so it's possible the cause could be electric, but police believe they may never know what truly started the blaze.
