Lawton_Lawton High, MacArthur, and Duncan squared off Friday in the State Academic Decathlon.
They take a series of timed tests, ranging from music and art, to economics and science, one right after the other, for four hours, with just a 15-minute break in the middle. So, it tests your brain and stamina.
"World War I is our theme this year, and they compete in tests that use that curriculum from World War I, so they have to know about World War I, as well as know math and science, and things like that. So, it's a very complicated test to study for," said Patty Neuwirth, State Director of the Oklahoma Academic Decathlon.
Lawton High captured the team title, with Duncan finishing second, and MacArthur third.
