Early morning stabbing puts one in hospital

ALTUS, Okla._Police are investigating an early morning stabbing in Altus that sent one man to Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

The victim, a 31-year-old male, was arguing with another man, also 31 years old when he was stabbed twice in the abdomen. The incident took place at 3:45 a.m. near Chestnut and south Pine Street. The suspect is being held at the Jackson County Jail on an assault with a deadly weapon charge.

The victim's condition is unknown.
