Local fugitive now behind bars

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) -

A man that was featured last week on NewsChannel 10's Fugitive File, is now behind bars.

Amarillo Police say Ashton Bailey was arrested Friday night, in the 200 block of S. Tennessee, after officers saw him sitting in car that was reported stolen.

Bailey was arrested for his 4 original felony warrants as well as unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

Police also arrested the passenger, Rodney Short, who was wanted on 3 municipal warrants as well as possession of a controlled substance. Both men were transported to Potter County Jail.
