UPDATE: Police release photos from weekend robbery

Amarillo, TX - Police are searching for the man who robbed an Amarillo motel this past weekend.

Officers were called to the La Kiva Motel Saturday morning, where a man had reportedly shown a gun to the front desk clerk and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a white man with a shaved head, six feet two inches tall and weighing 300 pounds or more, and was last seen leaving the scene in a black Toyota Yaris.

Amarillo police Monday morning released surveillance photos of the suspect.
