Two injured, one arrested after wreck in North Amarillo

Amarillo, TX - Two are injured and one is arrested after wreck in North Amarillo, Saturday night.

Just before 10 p.m. police say a black Mustang was traveling through the 10th and Adams intersection when it was hit by a Cadillac four-door, that ran a red light.

Officers say two people that were in the Mustang were sent to the hospital. They say the driver, Jack Tunnell, has life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Cadillac is being identified as Devon White, by Amarillo Police. Officers say he was arrested for two counts of intoxicated assault and was booked into the Randall County jail.

After investigating, officials say speed and alcohol are factors in the wreck.
