Okla. man, 2 children die in collision with semi

OAKLAND, Okla. (AP) _ An Oklahoma City man and two children were killed and another child critically injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer rig in southern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash occurred about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 70 west of Oakland when the semi crossed the center line and struck the car driven by 29-year-old Todd Leonard.

Troopers say Leonard, a 3-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy died in the crash while a 7-year-old boy was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital in critical condition. The names of the children were not released.

Investigators say the truck driver was not injured and that the cause of the collision has not been determined.

The roadway was shut down for about 4 hours following the crash.
