Lawton receives HUD grant

The Lawton Housing Authority is among nearly two dozen public groups in our area that will get money from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to make large-scale improvements.

Lawton will get roughly 316 thousand dollars as part of HUD's capital fund program. The money can be used to repair, renovate, or modernize public housing. Nationally, one-point-eight billion dollars was handed out.
