Accident damages four vehicles and injures three people

ALTUS, Okla._Police in Altus worked an accident Thursday morning that damaged four vehicles and sent three people to the hospital.

The accident occurred right around 9:00 a.m. when a Lincoln attempted to turn westbound onto Broadway when it was struck by an eastbound Buick in the 2200 block of Broadway. After the initial impact, the Lincoln continued for a short distance before hitting two other parked vehicles.

The driver of the Lincoln was flown to O.U. Medical Center with head and neck injuries. The driver and passenger in the Buick were taken to Jackson County Memorial Hospital for head, trunk, and arm injuries.
