Four arrested after trying to sell stolen copper

LAWTON, Okla._Four people are behind bars after police said they tried to sell thousands of dollars worth of stolen copper.

Police arrested Chad Johnson, Jennifer Price, Steven Golladay and Robert Spybuck. Witnesses told police the four suspects stole the copper from an empty home near Twelfth Street and Dearborn Avenue. Police searched their car also and found weapons. After police arrested Golladay, they said he tried to kick out the back window of the patrol car. Officers also found drug paraphernalia in Price's purse.

All four of them were booked into the Lawton city jail on various charges.
