U.S. Marshals arrest suspected armed robber

LAWTON, Okla._A suspected armed robber from Texas was arrested in a Lawton restaurant parking lot tonight. 

U.S. marshals arrested Jesus Ramos, his wife, and uncle. Investigators say they had been tracking the three for nearly a week.

Ramos and his wife Amber Herrera were wanted on outstanding warrants from Waco, Texas.

Ramos was wanted for aggravated armed robbery with possession of a weapon and body armor. His wife was wanted on multiple warrants including felony injury to a child.

The two had been staying with Ramos' uncle in an apartment in Lawton not far from the restaurant.

His uncle was arrested for a local warrant.

A juvenile was also part of the group, but he was released into his aunt's custody.
