LAWTON, Okla._ A lot of people had breakfast for dinner Friday night at the Lawton Kiwanis Annual Pancake Days.
They served over a thousand pancakes today for a good cause and all the proceeds will go helping with scholarships for high school students.
Kiwanis president, Rafael Santos says this is a great way to bring our community together.
"You get some enjoyment. You get to sit around with friends. You get to see people you haven't seen all week or a little while at these types of events. And it really builds a community thing because it's all going back to our kids, it's all going back to help our community grow," said Santos.
The group will be flipping pancakes and frying sausage from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are 10 dollars at the door.
