OKLAHOMA_ Washington State investigators are enlisting the help of Oklahomans and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for help identifying a murder victim believed to be from Oklahoma.

According to authorities, the young man was murdered and his body was discovered in Tumwater, Washington.

Medical examiners determined the man died of blunt for trauma and then burned to prevent identification.

The victim is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, between 5'8″ – 5'10″, weighed approximately 165 lbs. with short light brown or red hair.

He was wearing two dark blue sweatshirts over a white "Sherwin Williams" t-shirt; white Dickie painter-style pants; and new, camel-colored work boots.

If someone recognizes the man and have not seen him since March 1998, please contact Detective Ron Knapp with the Thurston County Sheriff's Office at 360-786-5278.
