LAWTON, Okla._Women from southwest Oklahoma non-profits modeled the latest spring trends on the runway Thursday at the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary Style Show.
This was the Women's Auxiliary 20th Annual Spring Fashion Show. It's their sole fundraiser and the funds go towards helping the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, the shelter and the angel tree program.
"It's wonderful. You really have your finger on the pulse of our community, helping out in all types of facets. The Salvation Army helps out with all types of life. So it really is a fun group and a worthwhile group to belong to," said Lusinca Hankins, President of the Women's Auxiliary.
Aside from modeling clothes, some of the Lawton firefighters were also displaying furniture. Hankins says that over two hundred women were expected to attend Thursday's show.
