Benefit rodeo helps local boy recover

Posted: Updated:
A benefit rodeo to support a local boy who recently broke his back and has a brain abnormality was held Saturday afternoon in Clarendon College Texas Arena.
The "Cowkids for Christ Twist a Wish" benefit kicked off with mutton busting, peewee bull riding.

There was also a silent auction, live music and a catered meal.

All of the money that is raised will help play for the expenses surrounding surgery costs for 12 year old Dalton Benson.

Benson needs surgery to repair some broken vertebrae and also recently had brain surgery.
