Improper right turn leads to drug bust

LAWTON, Okla._A routine traffic stop turned into drug bust after Lawton police found more than 30 grams of meth and other drugs in the car.

Tracie Hughes and Daniel Anderson were pulled over near 11th and Tennessee for making an improper right turn. A K9 unit alerted the officers to the drugs in the car. Hughes and Anderson were then searched which revealed multiple baggies of meth and marijuana between the two occupants and stashed away in the car.

More than 30 grams of meth were found on Hughes and another gram found in the car. Police found two grams of marijuana on Anderson along with 6 Alprazolam pills.

The two were arrested on charges of making an improper right turn, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
