Woman is attacked and then robbed in Lawton store parking lot

LAWTON, Okla._ A Lawton woman was attacked and then robbed in the parking lot outside of a store.

It happened just after 11 p.m. Monday night on the north side of the parking lot of the Walmart on Sheridan Road. The victim said that she had just opened her car to put her groceries in when a women attacked her from behind, knocking her to the ground. Another woman came up hitting the victim again before stabbing her with a piece of sharpened fence wire. The two women then took the victims groceries and along with other items. The victim did not know her attackers, but said that one was a white woman and the other a Native American woman. She said that they left in a creme colored Nissan SUV.

Lawton Police are still investigating the incident.
