Pair racks up hefty bill in stolen diesel

Posted: Updated:

TILLMAN COUNTY, Okla._Two men are behind bars in Tillman County for racking up a large bill on someone else's credit cards.

Alfonso Yudian and Leonel Perez had been going to unmanned diesel pumps to fill up their semi trucks. They had done so many trips that Tillman County Sheriff, Bobby Whittington, says they racked up close to a $40,000 bill. Sheriff Whittington says technology and good old fashion police work is what led to the arrests.

"Surveillance cameras and also our reserve deputies, and my deputies conducted around the clock surveillance since last Thursday," explained Sheriff Whittington.

The sheriff says the cards are coming back from a Federal Reserve Credit Union out of New York and they are still in the process of pinning down exactly where the cards are from.
