Elgin man taken in for possession and trading of child pornography

ELGIN, Okla._An Elgin man was taken into custody after a member of the OSBI’s Internet Crimes against Children task force was able to intercept an online message that involved the man offering another man sex with a young child.

Frankie Tahsequah, 39, was taken into custody on Thursday after he came under suspicion of both the OSBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after an online chat session was intercepted where Tahsequah offered another man to have sexual relations with a young child. An officer from the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office was asked to investigate the matter further. During the interview the officer also examined Tahsequah’s cell phone and found him to not only be in possession of child pornography but that he was also an active trader.

Tahsequah also reportedly admitted to the deputy that he had a long time fantasy of engaging in sexual relations with a young child but denied that he had ever acted on it.

"These monsters will do anything to fulfill their twisted fantasies, and while Tahsequah denies ever having abused a child, it’s only a matter of time until these people act out their fantasy and destroy a child’s life," said Randall Edwards, Canadian County Sheriff.

Tahsequah is currently in the Comanche County Jail on charges of Possession of Child Pornography and Violations of the Computer Crimes Act.
