Police seek aggravated assault suspect

Amarillo, TX - Amarillo police continue to search for a man suspected of an aggravated assault over the weekend.
 
Police say a 21 year-old woman was struck in the head with a handgun Saturday morning at an apartment in the 3300 block of Eddy street.

The gun reportedly fired into the front door of the apartment when the suspect struck the victim with it.

Police believe the bullet may have entered a home across the street. The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
