Inmate tries to escape, needed to use the bathroom

LAWTON, Okla._An inmate felt the urge to use the bathroom and decided to run away from his trustee program, he’s now added Escaping Custody to his charges.

Just before noon on Monday, Floyd Littlecook was seen running southbound from Elmer Thomas Park still wearing his orange jail pants but had already removed the orange shirt. An officer was responding to a separate call in the area when the inmate was spotted. Littlecook saw the officer approaching but kept running until he was caught at Fourth Street and Ferris Avenue. When asked why he ran off, Littlecook stated that he needed to go to the bathroom.

Littlecook was transported back to the city jail and booked with Escaping Custody.
