Homeowner comes home to burglars leaving the home

LAWTON, Okla._A Lawton woman came home to find a suspicious car in her driveway and then realized that her house had been broken into.

The victim told police when she got home around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday she saw a vehicle with two women and a man sitting in her driveway at her home on southwest 72nd street. The car quickly drove away before she could say anything to them. When the victim went inside her house she noticed it had been broken into and that things were missing. The victim was able to give the officer a description of the vehicle and police also found a neighbor who had witnessed the crime.

The vehicle was stopped by police not long after. The victim and the witness were both able to identify the suspects and they were arrested. Police also found the stolen items in the car.
