Lawton man arrested for assault and burglary

LAWTON, Okla._A man sits in the Lawton City Jail tonight after police say he assaulted a Walmart employee before breaking into a woman's home.

Officers were called out to the Walmart on Sheridan Road early Friday morning where employees said Ryan Noel became combative to staff when confronted about knocking over cones in the parking lot.

He then left the store, but it wasn't long before police received another call -- this time at a residence just south of the store. A woman told police Noel walked in through her back door and ran through the house before sending police on a short chase. He was later caught and arrested for first degree burglary, assault, and resisting a police officer.
