One man has died after two vehicle accident

LAWTON, Okla._One of the drivers involved in an accident April 21 has died due to the injuries he sustained.

Glendon Cofer, 70, was taken to OU medical Center by a medical helicopter after being hit by another vehicle. The accident occurred at southwest 75th Street and Bishop Road just before 4:30 p.m. April 21. Cofer was eastbound on Bishop when he failed to stop at the posted stop sign and was hit by the other driver who was southbound on 75th Street. Cofer was pinned inside the vehicle for 20 minutes before Flower Mound fire fighters were able to free him using the Jaws of Life.

The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were taken to a local hospital and later released.
