Caught on camera, daycare broken into overnight

Posted: Updated:

LAWTON, Okla._The owner of a daycare in west Lawton is hoping you can help catch a burglar whose crime was caught on tape.

The suspect broke into the Creative Moments Learning Academy on northwest 67th Street around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday. The surveillance video shows the suspect kicking in the front door of the daycare and crawls inside. Once inside, he went straight for the laptop, which he struggles to get because of the cords. After he grabs the laptop, he takes a look behind the desk and leaves the same way he came in. The owner says the laptop was the only thing stolen.

If you have information on the suspect, call Lawton Crime Stoppers at (580) 355-4636.
