DALLAS (AP) - A district court judge has reversed a previous order and imposed a series of probationary requirements for a 20-year-old man convicted of raping a schoolmate.

The initial punishment for Sir Young sparked a backlash when a prior judge in Dallas sentenced him to five years of probation and declined to impose standard conditions of probation for sex offenders. That judge later recused herself and prosecutors asked the court to reconsider the terms of Young's probation.

Judge Carter Thompson on Thursday imposed the standard terms, which include attending treatment.

The prior judge, Jeanine Howard, had questioned whether the victim embellished her story and said Young "is not your typical sex offender."

Young was 18 and the victim 14 when the incident occurred in 2011 at a Dallas high school.
