Clovis Man sentenced after a guilty plea of criminal child sexual abuse

Clovis, NM - A Clovis man is sentenced to 15 years in prison after entering a guilty plea to criminal child sexual abuse on a 13 year-old.  

He is identified as Shane Jackson. Last July, it was reported to the Curry County Sheriff's Office that Jackson had inappropriately touched the child.  
   
Further investigation revealed he has sexually abused the child for the past year. He was arrested a month later.  

Jackson will be required to register as a lifetime sex offender and put on intensely supervised parole.
