Driver killed in pickup crash near Marlow

Grady County- Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a late night crash Thursday just north of Marlow claimed a driver's life.

Troopers say it happened one mile north of the Stephens-Grady County line on Highway 81. For some reason the driver went off the road to the left and hit a sign before going into a slide, hitting another sign and rolling nearly two times. OHP says the driver was not wearing a seat belt, thrown from the pickup and died at the scene. At last check troopers were still working to notify the victim's next of kin, so no name or other information about the person has been released.
