Lawton's Armed Forces Day parade set for Saturday

LAWTON, Okla._Lawton’s annual Armed Forces Day parade begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday.

The parade is scheduled to have 100 entries which include local businesses and military vehicles. Antique cars, marching bands and floats will be making their way through the parade route. This year’s parade route will start at Sixth Street and C Avenue and head west to 11th Street. From there it will go north to Ferris Avenue before turning east to Third Street and entering Elmer Thomas Park.

Elmer Thomas Park will also host a number of things to do after the parade such as inflatables and a car show.
