One dead after three vehicle accident

CACHE, Okla._Information has been released about a three vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 17-year-old boy in Comanche County Friday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Cache Road and Deyo Mission Road. Troopers say Eli Morris, 17, was heading north on Deyo Mission Road when he ran a stop sign and was hit by a car going east on Cache Road. The driver who hit Morris then veered into on-coming traffic and was hit by another vehicle that was going west on Cache Road. Morris was trapped in his vehicle for nearly an hour and a half before he was freed by the Jaws of Life. He died at the scene.

Both of the other drivers and one passenger, a 10-month old child, were taken to a hospital where they were treated and released.
