OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla._The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released state-wide statistics for Operation C.A.R.E. (Combined Accident Reduction Effort).

OHP responded to the following vehicular incidents over the course of Memorial Day weekend.

Fatality collisions- 8

Fatalities- 9

Unrestrained fatalities- 3

Total collisions- 152

Alcohol related crashes- 22

DUI arrests- 113

Speed citations- 575

Seat belt violations- 844

Child restraint violations- 21

Motorist assists- 447

These numbers only pertain to incidents that involved OHP. They do not include city or county responses that did not require OHP to be involved.
