Inspiring team claims 5th National title

Oklahoma City, OK - For the 5th year in a row an Oklahoma City cheerleading squad has won a national title, but there's more behind the talent of this team. This Oklahoma City cheerleading squad has claimed a national title once again, but what makes this team even more inspiring is the squad is made up of all special needs athletes.

This is their 5th year of claiming the National Cheerleaders Association special needs title. The coaches design routines to highlight each performers' strengths as each athlete has different abilities to showcase.

Each synchronized move is important for the win, but the athletes say it's not all about the trophies, it's about so much more. The squad has become a family and learned valuable life lessons together and continue to grow and learn each practice and competition.

The coaches said quote, just seeing those transformations and how far all of the athletes have come not only as athletes, but as people is really cool and that they can't help but leave each practice with a smile.
