Two injured after truck and motorcycle collide

LAWTON, Okla._A horrific accident occurred Thursday morning when a motorcycle and a truck towing a trailer with equipment collided.

It happened just after 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Gore Boulevard and Railroad Street. It appears the motorcycle was headed east on Gore Boulevard when a truck traveling south on Railroad Street failed to yield and hit the motorcycle.

Two passengers on the motorcycle were severely injured. One victim, a woman, was taken to the hospital with head and leg injuries. The other victim, a man, was also taken to the hospital with leg injuries. Both of the people on the motorcycle were wearing helmets. There is no word on their current conditions.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
