Johnson will stand trial after waiving her preliminary hearing

STERLING, Okla._A former Sterling High School teacher, accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a teenage student, has waived her preliminary hearing and will stand trial in September.

Crystal Johnson, 28, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor for having an unspecified relationship with a 15-year-old boy. The relationship allegedly lasted for 5 months and started last summer.

Johnson was an English teacher and adjunct speech teacher at Sterling High School.
