STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Police in Stillwater say an Oklahoma State football player has reported being stabbed, kidnapped and robbed.
Capt. Randy Dickerson says the player told officers he was attacked Monday night and that the player was treated and released at a Stillwater hospital for knife wounds to his abdomen and his right arm.
Dickerson declined to release the player's name.
OSU athletic department spokesman Gavin Lang said it is too early for the university to comment and referred questions to police.
Dickerson says the player told detectives he was dumped after being attacked and was trying to walk to a friend's house when witnesses saw him and called police.
