Posted: Updated:

ALTUS, Okla._A man is in custody after a shooting occurred in Altus over the weekend at an apartment complex on the south side of town.

Lee Ray Nunez, 28, was arrested on charges of shooting with intent to kill. Residents at Ridgecrest Apartments told police they heard several shots fired early Sunday morning and then saw four men run inside an apartment. No one was hit by the gun fire, but at least two apartments had bullet holes. Police found the juvenile and adult suspects and questioned them at the police station. After searching the suspect's residence, police found four handguns hidden inside the apartment.

Police believe more arrests will be made as the investigation continues.
