Arrest made in connection to robbery and home invasion

Posted: Updated:

LAWTON, Okla._One of three teens involved in last week's robbery of a minor care clinic and a home invasion has been identified.

Ryan Rivera, 19, was developed as a suspect in both cases following the arrests of a 15 and 16-year-old teen arrested near the scene of a home invasion Wednesday. Earlier that day police were also called to the robbery of a minor care clinic where an employee was beaten and robbed.

Police developed Rivera as a suspect following the arrests of his two friends. Friday, police went to his west Lawton home on Chaucer Street armed with a search warrant. Police uncovered several items taken from both crimes inside the home. Rivera admitted to knowing and profiting from the robbery at the minor care clinic and to taking part in a home invasion later that day.

Rivera was arrested on charges of robbery and receiving stolen property.
