Hemphill County Officials Continue their Search for Missing Woman

Posted: Updated:
Hemphill County, TX - It's day three in the search for Marquita Medrano who disappeared after going horseback riding near the Canadian River.

We spoke with several members of the search team, and many of them are feeling tired and frustrated but they don't plan to give up hope.

Right now they are working in sections and going over some areas again, because of the flooding to make sure they did not miss anything.

They did not expand the search area today, but the Hemphill County Sheriff has not ruled out expansion to the state line.

The search is still being done by horseback and the Texas Department of Corrections and Justice are using their search dogs.

As of right now the search will continue through tomorrow.
