Caron has more than 30 years of business and technology experience, with 25 years of them in health care, traversing both health care delivery systems and health insurers. He previously served in senior leadership positions at the Collaborative Care division of OptumHealth, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Catholic Health Initiatives and Health source. He most recently served as chief information officer for Capital BlueCross.
Caron is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and Franklin Pierce College. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), certified as a Healthcare Chief Information Officer through the College of Healthcare Information Executives, and is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and of the Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS).
