Lake Lawtonka cleans after 4th of July

LAKE LAWTONKA, Okla_ A swift firework clean-up.

We all heard those firecrackers going off Friday night and Lake Lawtonka was a popular destination for many to have some firework fun.

In year's past this  clean-up process has lasted for hours.

This year, not so bad.

Just a little debris left and dumpsters full of trash.

Friday night's rain over the lake created quite the mess and Saturday, the grounds were pretty beat up.

Police say Lake Lawtonka was at near capacity Friday, in part because of the low lake levels in Texas, which prompted many people to cross the Red River for their Fourth of July celebrations.
