"Boggin for Babies" helps local non-profit adoption agency

Posted: Updated:
Not many people would purposely get their cars stuck in mud.. But on Saturday, that was actually the goal.

Nearly 50 drivers got their cars a little dirty at the "Boggin for Babies" fundraiser, held just south of Canyon.

The event was hosted by Special Delivery, a local infant adoption agency.

The group does not receive money from the government, making fundraising events so important.

Event organizers hope the mud fun will also raise awareness for their agency and their mission.

The non-profit group works to help place babies with families around the panhandle.
