DPS trooper seizes meth, cash

Amarillo, Texas - A traffic stop results in a $75,000 meth bust.

At about 6 p.m. Saturday, a DPS trooper stopped a car heading westbound on Interstate 40 near Conway in Carson County for a traffic violation.

The trooper discovered over two pounds of methamphetamine and $54,000 in cash.

Anna Marie Gulart, age 40, and Veronica Ramos Delgado, age 35, of Wilmington, California, were charged with possession of a controlled substance, money laundering, and unlawful use of a criminal instrument.

Gulart and Delgado were booked into the Carson County Jail.
