Jones' first-degree murder trial postponed

DUNCAN, Okla._The trial for one of the teens charged with murder in the shooting death of Australian native Christopher Lane has been postponed.

The first-degree murder trial for Michael Jones had been set for August. Earlier this week, a judge agreed to postpone the trial until next April. An exact date has not been set. The murder trial for Chancey Luna is also expected to be reset from August to April but the judge has not ruled on that yet.

Christopher Lane was gunned down while jogging last summer in Duncan. Prosecutors say Luna was the trigger man and Jones was driving the car from which the shots were fired.

A third suspect, James Edwards Jr., is charged as a juvenile with accessory to murder after the fact.
