Texas - Two University of Texas wide receivers were arrested and charged Thursday with felony sexual assault after a female student says she was raped in a campus dorm room in June.

According to an arrest affidavit Kendall Sanders and former Palo Duro High School stand-out Montrel Meander were in custody at the University police station.

In a statement to police the alleged victim says she went to Meander's dorm room where she and he agreed to engage in consensual sex.

Minutes later there was a knock at the door and Meander answered and allowed a person, later identified as Sanders into the room.

The statement goes on to say Sanders forced himself onto the victim while Meander was out of the room, and once Meander returned he too forced himself onto the victim.

At some point the woman says she saw a flash and thought a picture was taken. Later detectives received written consent from both men to search there phones where they found at least on photo of the victim on Sanders phone.

Head Coach Charlie Strong has suspended both players.
