Homeowner catches burglar in the act

LAWTON, Okla._Two Lawton homeowners were surprised when they found someone rummaging around the house when they came home.

It all happened at a home on Cheryl Place in northwest Lawton. The burglar took off once he was spotted, but the homeowner chased after him before losing him a short time later. Police responded and also began searching for the suspect. Witnesses said they saw him run into an apartment complex.

Police have not been able to find him.
