Water usage hours change in Comanche

COMANCHE, Okla._The city of Comanche is making changes to its water rationing hours thanks to input by residents.

Residents can now water lawns and outdoor plants from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., that's two hours longer than the previous ordinance called for. Addresses ending in an even number can water on even-numbered days, and addresses ending in an odd number can water on odd-numbered days.

The city is currently under Stage 2 water restrictions, those ordinances will stay in place until water levels at Waurika Lake have significantly improved.
