Three injured in Stephens Co. rollover accident

STEPHENS COUNTY, Okla._ A Duncan man was admitted to the hospital in poor condition in the early morning hours of Aug. 3 following a single-vehicle accident.

The accident happened just after 1 a.m. on Refinery Road, just west of Loco Road.

The driver, Bradley Burckhalter, of Healdton, Okla., didn’t follow the roadway and drove off Refinery Road. The vehicle he was driving flipped one time.

Troopers say Burckhalter was driving drunk. He and another passenger were treated and released from the hospital with injuries. Toby Copeland, another passenger, was taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center. At last check he was being treated for head and internal injuries.
